STARTING the year on a good footing, Olo Omidan Bata is among the few entertainers who are in Konya, one of Turkey’s mainland’s entertaining cities, for the Africa – Turkey Economic and Cultural Amalgamation.
The event which started on Friday attracted a world class audience made of African Heads of State, Ministers, Diplomats and the business communities as well as the Turkish government.
Olo Omidan Bata is attending the event alongside her Atunda Entertainment group. The event is packed with activities devoted to exploring business opportunities in tourism, culture and entertainment in Africa and Turkey with Motherland Beckons founded by Otunba Wanle Akinboboye in partnership with MUSAID
Described as one of the biggest business umbrella body in the world, the event is being attended by 11, 000 members and 50, 000 companies spread across 175 countries.
Olo, who is the first Nigerian female Bata drummer, has been selected from a long list of African performers to enthrall the gathering with her deft vocalist gift and stagecraft.
The rave of the moment, who is gradually climbing the musical ladder is under Atunda Entertainment, where she has learnt to create a purely Africa musical sound, employing African cultural and entertainment elements in her performances.
