OLO OMIDAN BATA to headline Abidjan exhibition

OLO Omidan Bata, Nigerian female drummer will be taking her craft globally as she takes her musical act to some cities across Africa and Europe. This is following a series of invitational performances lined up for the artiste from the stable of Atunda Entertainment.

According to information, her world tour begins on the Africa continent as she has been engaged as the star performer at the Made in Nigeria Exhibition holding in Abidjan, Cote d’ Voire next Monday. She will also visit the Addis Ababa headquarters of the African Union (AU) to perform at the reception for world dignitaries attending the African Fashion show on September 15.

The fashion event is being put together by AU in conjunction with the legendary Gold for African Fashion.

This climaxes with appearance on the Paris stage as she performs for guests in October for a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s (UNESCO) fashion show event in partnership with the legendary Gold for African Fashion.

Olo is known for her authentic African sound infused with a lot of African musical and cultural elements, which for many discerning audience is a refreshing development as she has shown that African music can hold its own on the world stage.

Her performance at the recently held first-ever Nigerian Drum Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State, won her immense following as she overwhelmed the audience with her electrified performance, which saw the governor of the state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, giving her a standing ovation and hosting her to a dinner.
