Artistes thrill at Airtel Smart Trybe launch

IT was a gathering of stars as telecoms operator, Airtel Nigeria, held a spectacular launch of its Airtel Smart Trybe, an offering targeted at youths in Nigeria. Talented rapper, Phyno, and dancehall star, Patoranking, both brand ambassadors for the telcom outfit, spiced up the launch with their superlative performances.

The artistes thrilled the guests that gathered at Vapors Lounge in Ikoyi, Lagos, where the repackaged Smart Trybe product was colourfully unveiled recently.

Shortly before the duo of Phyno and Patoranking got on stage to perform, One Mic Star, Acetune including Nonso Bassey, Chike and Brenda, who are among the finalists from the widely watched music talent hunt show, The Voice Nigeria, had added colour to occasion with their acts.

The guest comprised mainly youths who had a wonderful time as they engaged in karaoke competition and enjoyed the refreshments made available to everyone. In the Karaoke contest, a guest won airtime of N10, 000.00, while others won exciting gifts.

Vice President, Brands and Advertising, Airtel, Enitan Denloye; Senior Manager, Brand Management, Oluwaseun Adaramola; Communications Manager, Erhumu Bayagbon, Head, Youth Segment and Omoyeme Effiongwere at the event.

Through the relaunch of the youth-centric product, the telco has restated its strong commitment to offer pocket-friendly call and data rates to Nigerian youths.
