NOLLYWOOD diva, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, has been confirmed as the face of beauty products, Ghandour Cosmetics. This was done at the Nigerian unveil of the beauty range of products.
Held at Yard 138, Oregun, Lagos, on Tuesday, the Nigerian launch of the company’s BO16 product was also graced by its Ghanaian ambassador, John Dumelo.
According to Omotola, whose presence was greeted with cheers by the cosmetologist association members present, said that it has been a fun ride being the ambassador for the brand.
“I’ve been with them for three years and that’s quite a long time because you hardly see endorsements. That’s how comfortable I am being with them. This is actually their launch in Nigeria and I do and I love the hairspray. I think that is one product everybody should try,” she said.
The Nollywood screen goddess also said that the immediate plan of the outfit would be to roll out and to let everyone be aware of the fact that they are now here.
“They produce their stuff by themselves, so I hope that they would have a factory here in Nigeria like they have in Ghana. That’s something I’m really looking forward to. That way, they can create more jobs for the youths and communities in Nigeria. So I think that should be their immediate plans,” she added.
Adding his voice, Ghollywood hunk, John Dumelo, also said that he has been working for Ghandour Cosmetics for a couple of years now as the brand ambassador for Style Up, one of its range of products.
“Every since I started using the product, I know a lot of boys or a lot of men who have always wanted to use the product too because it’s good for the hair. It straightens out the hair and it makes the hair look neat and it attracts the women as well,” he stated.
The event also featured music, dance and a hairdressing competition.
