BRITISH-BORN Nigerian singer Tonye Garrick who recently dropped her debut single titled ‘Written in the stars’ has got her fans ogling after photos from a recent session went online.
Shot by Sunmisola Olorunisola and styled by Bubu Ogisi, the series of photos in four themes – Whitetingale, Tonye on the Rocks, In Living Colour and Black Out – show the artiste in different outfits and poses.
In one of the photos, Tonye, who is signed on to Made Men Music Group (Triple MG), was seated on a low wooden platform and wore a yellow top which subtly showed her chest and cleavage over a wide and flowing green skirt. In another, she was more conservative, wearing all black, while in yet another set of pictures, she was dressed in all-white.
‘My favorite look from our shoot,’ Tonye however said of a photo she posted on her Instagram account from the theme Whiteingale in which she wore white and used her hands to frame her face.
‘My team and everything about this shoot.’
The photo shoot is part of promotional efforts for ‘Written in the stars’, a song of longing and expression, which was produced by Mystro.
Other songs that have been released by Tonye include Criminal and Abi Belema which won her a nomination at the 2015 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
