LAST-RISING actress Damilola Adeyemi is out with a new flick titled Omo Odo after six years of her debut as a producer with the movie Ojo Ola. Omo Odo which parades actors like Antar Laniyan, Taiwo Hassan, Ayo Adesanya, Bimbo Thomas and Sunny Ali gives credence to the saying that Destiny can never be changed but can only be delayed. Although Omo Odo was first released on Youtube last month, the actress who was a year on Friday, June 3, officially released the movie to mark the day.
Damilola whose grandmother passed away on May 15 said she is excited about the gift of life and her new movie but the death of her grandmother has left a sour taste in her mouth.
“I grew up with my grandmother from seven months till I finished my nursery and Primary school before moving to Ibadan to continue my secondary school. So, as you can see she gave me my first knowledge of the world and that explains why I am grieving right now but at the same time, I give glory to God for the gift of life and my new movie Omo Odo”.
The star of Lagos girls, a movie by Sunny Ali, also revealed to The Nation that she will be heading back to location for another flick as soon as she is done mourning her departed grandmother.
